- Assoc. Professor, Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
- Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Iuliu Hatieganu” Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
- Founder of Med Artis Dent – private Clinic with activity based on oral implantology, esthetic dentistry and periodontology.
- Extensively lectures in several national and international congresses of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology.
- Research member and coordinator in 15 european and national scientific projects.
- Received several prizes in national and international scientific events.
- Author and co-author of more than 80 papers in national and international journals. Co-author of 8 speciality books.

Dr. Cristina Dinu DDS, MSc • Restorative
- Graduated the Faculty of Dentistry at "Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca
- Master’s degree in oral rehabilitation. “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
- Her clinical activity has been carried out at the Med Artis Dent clinic since 2010, where she performs exclusively implant-prosthetic rehabilitations. She is a co-founder and lecturer of the Annual Implantology Program at Dinu & Associates Implant Academy.
- She attended multiple national and international congresses like: European Federation of Periodontics Master Course on Peri-Implantitis, Valletta, Malta; The 12-th Annual MegaGen International Symposium, Moscova, Rusia; ICOI Summer Implant Symposium, San Francisco, USA; Transilvania Congress of Dentistry, Cluj-Napoca; Simpozionul Internațional de Stomatologie Napoca Biodent, Cluj-Napoca; Direct Digital Congress Sibiu; International Congress of Dental Esthetics, Bucharest, Romania.
Dr. Adrian Petrutiu DDS, MSc, PhD • Periodontics and Oral Surgery
- Graduated the Faculty of Dentistry at "Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, in 2008
- He is a specialist in Dento-Alveolar Surgery since 2012 and in Periodontology since 2014. He got his “Phd” in Medical Sciences – Dental Medicine - in 2016 (Summa cum laude)
- He is a member of the Periodontology Department (part of the Department of Oral Rehabilitation) at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy " Iuliu Haţieganu" Cluj- Napoca, since 2011, currently holding the possition of Lecturer
- He attended specialization courses in Belgium and France through the Erasmus program, and also courses held by renowned periodontist such as Prof. Dr. Giovanni Zuchelli, Prof. Dr. He Anton Sculean, Roberto Rossi, Prof. Pierpaolo Cortellini
- He graduated in 2019 the second level master “Soft Tissue Management Around Teeth and Implants” – first edition - at Alma Mater Studiorum Universita di Bologna, master director Prof Giovanni Zucchelli
- His scientific activity has resulted in the participation in numerous national and international scientific meetings, where he gave lectures and oral presentations. He published as first author and co-author a numerous scientific papers in national and international journals
- He helds a private practice in Cluj Napoca and is part of the Periodontology Department at Medartis Dent Clinique since 2012
Dr. Bogdan CRISAN DMD, MSc, PhD • Laser therapy, Oral Surgery
- Is a Faculty Expert for LASER and HEALTH ACADEMY „LA&HA” on domain of laser application in surgery and dentistry, with over 15 years experience in the use of diode lasers on soft tissues and with over 10 years of experience in the use of lasers on hard tissues
- He graduated the Faculty of Dentistry at "Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2002. He is specialist in oral surgery since 2011. He obtained his master's degree in Oral Rehabilitation and Oral Health, in 2007, at the same University
- He attended to specialization courses and trainings in clinics and research centers in Sweden (Karolinska Institutet), Switzerland (Universitat Basel) and South Korea (Hallym University)
- In 2011 he got his certificate of complementary studies in "Therapeutic and surgical use of laser in dentistry". He got the “PhD” in Medical Sciences in 2013, with his PhD thesis on the subject of the use of laser in treatment of vascular malformations and oral soft tissues benign tumors
- His scientific activity has resulted in the participation in numerous national and international scientific congresses, where he presented lectures and oral presentations related to the use of laser in oral surgery, periodontal therapy, peri-implant complications and facial or dental aesthetics
- He published as first author and co-author a numerous scientific papers in national and international journals. He is an active member of the Romanian Society of Lasers in Dentistry (SRLS) affiliated to WFLD-ED (World Federation for Laser in Dentistry). He is currently Lecturer at the " Iuliu Haţieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj- Napoca, Romania and associate laser practitioner at two private clinics in Cluj
Dr. Sebastian Stoia MD, DMD, PhD • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Specialist physician in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Assistant Professor within the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, România.
- His clinical and academic activity focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, with primary interests in maxillofacial trauma, head and neck oncology, reconstructive surgery, salivary gland pathology, oral surgery, and implantology.
- He is the author and co-author of 18 scientific papers published in international journals, with an h-index of 6. He graduated from the Postgraduate Program in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery (EACMFS) and completed international exchange visits at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, United Kingdom (2023), and University of Florida Health Hospital, Jacksonville, USA (2025).
- He is a member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS), the AO Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery Working Group (AOCMF), and the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology (IADMFR).
Dr. Rareș Mocan MD, DMD, PhD Student • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Specialist physician in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
- He specializes in salivary gland pathology, parotid tumor surgery, oro-maxillofacial traumatology, advanced imaging applied in maxillofacial surgery, as well as in the integration of digital technologies and AR/VR in surgical planning.
- With clinical experience gained within the Cluj-Napoca County Emergency Clinical Hospital, in the Maxillofacial Surgery department, under the supervision of Professor dr. Cristian Dinu, his activity focuses on the surgical treatment of complex maxillofacial pathology, with an emphasis on reducing postoperative morbidity and increasing therapeutic precision.
- He is a PhD student within the Faculty of Dental Medicine, being involved in multidisciplinary research projects aimed at integrating artificial intelligence, multimodal imaging, and innovative technologies in dento-maxillary surgery.
- He is the author and co-author of several articles published in ISI-indexed international journals, with relevant contributions in the field of salivary gland tumors, diagnostic imaging, and digital applications in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- He is a member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS), AOCMF, and the professional medical colleges in Cluj-Napoca, being actively involved in university education and the continuous development of modern dental medicine.
Special Guest: Dr. Mattia Manfredini DMD, PhD Student • Oral Surgery
- Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Insubria. Specialized in Oral Surgery at the University of Milan.
- PhD student in Clinical Research with thesis on full digital implant rehabilitation.
- Tutor for school of Dentistry and specialization in Oral Surgery at the university.
- Performs clinical activities in the center for edentulism and maxillary atrophies at Fondazione IRCCS Ca Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, coordinated by Professor Maiorana. Performs research in the implant field specifically on peri-implant soft tissue, bone regeneration for implant-prosthetic purposes and digital flow in implantology.
- Author of publications in national and international journals and reviewer for journals in the field. Contributor to the book, entitled: “Approccio full digital alla chirurgia implantare” by Carlo Maiorana and Mario Beretta, Ariesdue, 2023.
- Lecturer on topics like Guided Bone Reconstruction, Digital implantology, Soft tissue management, Implant biomechanics
